Dear GTC-TC friends,

Unfortunately our next GTC-TC race from 19. – 21. June must be cancelled !!!

Facts:

After the tiresome, still continuing disputes with the Hockenheimring in regards to the JIM CLARK-REVIVAL, the management of the Hockenheimring issued a house ban before the event “Hockenheim Historic” – for me, my family and all my staff (most probably they wanted to prevent me from getting a personal impression of the sorrowful copy of the JIM CLARK-REVIVAL and this although just about everyone knew that I would attending the RMU Classic in Spa-Francorchamps with the GTC-TC during this particular weekend). But even this was not enough. After I had successfully carried out the JIM CLARKREVIVAL at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, Mr Heinz Weber who is the organiser of the “Stuttgarter Rössle”, was coerced into “uninviting” the GTC-TC from the Hockenheimring. Therefore I have no recourse but to cancel our race event from 19. – 21. June 2009. All entered GTC-TC participants will of course receive their paid entry fee for Hockenheim from me or if they wish, this entry fee will be used for one of our next race events. Due to the longstanding years of good cooperation with Heinz Weber and due to moral reasons, naturally I cannot take legal action against him as the event organiser.

Nevertheless I have already informed the FIA in Luxemburg (ACL) as the licensing authority of the GTC-TC of this matter. In spite of Joe Wagner’s (from Luxemburg) personal intervention who even made the extra effort to drive to Hockenheim last weekend, there has been no official written response from the Hockenheimring up to today. I am not really surprised that the management of the Hockenheimring presents itself as a “bad loser”. But it is coming on very strong when international FIA licence holders are treated so unsportingly. The question still remains of whether one should follow up the punishable offence of coercion legally ? You can gladly let me know your opinion of this matter. Never mind - let us not let our common hobby be spoilt by such “small-minded personalities” but instead look forward eagerly to our next race event in Zolder (B) from 10. – 12. July 2009. You can find provisional timetable even today in the attachment. Please do not hesitate to contact me per telephone if you have any questions.

With sporting regards

Ronny G. Bredhauer
