| Trophees Historiques de Bourgogne, Dijon, 16. - 18. OktoberDear friends of the GTC-TC,
After a fantastic racing weekend at the Nürburgring (the classification tables, race report and photos can be found on our website next week), our last race event of the 2009 season will be taking place very soon - the Trophees Historiques de Bourgogne in Dijon, 16. - 18. October.
In order to present ourselves with a full starting grid in France, we will be starting together with the French historic "Saloon Cars". Since we will be sharing the starting grid with this group (there will be separate prize-givings), the GTC-TC will only have 20 starting places. This is why I need to know your decision as soon as possible (by the latest, Thursday, 8. October) whether you wish to participate at this wonderful race track at the end of the 2009 racing season.
As usual, the timetable, the race circuit plan (the length of the starting and finishing straights is 1,2 km), the event flyer, the document for renting a pit, etc. can be found on our website under events - Dijon.
Attention: The organiser is also offering a free practice on Friday at 11.10 hours. You will receive your participant passes at the "Circuit Welcome (Thurs. 9.00 - 12.30 hours and 14.00 - 18.00 hours, Fri. 8.30 - 12.30 hours and 14.00 - 18.00 hours). The administrative check will take place on the first floor of the Tower in the drivers paddock until Friday 10.40 hours. Please note the information in regards to the drivers briefing.
I would be very happy to greet you all at the race track of Dijon Prenois.
With sporting regards

| Our next GTC-TC race event will take place at the Nürburg Ring from 25. - 27.
Dear GTC-TC friends,
I hope that you have had (or are still having) a wonderful holiday.
Our next GTC-TC race event will take place at the Nürburg Ring from 25. - 27. September. Due to the courtesy of the organiser of the "Eifelrennen" (ADAC Nordrhein), the entry fee for the GTC-TC race could be reduced greatly - instead of paying 690,- Euro, the start now only costs 600,- Euro (2 x 30 min. Qualifying, 2 x 30 min. races).
The entry procedure has not changed at all. Those who have already sent a GTC-TC entry form in 2009, can just send me a short email or fax (all those who have already paid 690,- Euro for the "Eifelrennen" will be reimbursed 90,- Euro at the Nürburg Ring). All new entrants can fax me the completed GTC-TC entry form which can be found in the download area of our website (but please only transfer the amount of 600,- Euro for this race event).
We will starting together with the FHR 100 Miles, so I hope that we will have a fantastic starting field (there will be separate classifications for table, of course).
The closing date for entries is 25. August. After this date, entries can only be accepted after the ADAC has given its agreement to this. Your name cannot be included in the programme brochure after the closing date.
Therefore do not hesitate for long and react as soon as possible !
With sporting regards

Stolen Lotus 41C Formula Altantic - please circulate The car is a Lotus 41C, Formula B car having a 1600 Lotus Ford Twincam dry sumped engine in Grey with a Bottle green BRM cam Cover. It is a Smirthwaite engine and has no number on it though the inscription V.LOWE is stamped into the blanking plate where the manual fuel pump would have been. It is very rare car, probably the only 41C in the UK and one of only a dozen or so still running in the world, most in the USA.
The gearbox is a Taylor Race Engineering (USA) unit which is effectively a replica Hewland mk 8/9, The wheels are the original Lotus 6 bolt 6 spoke Mags with black centres and polished rims. they have lotus emblem badges riveted onto the centre of the wheels.
The car is in "Gold Leaf "Livery (red over gold over white) with the oblong Gold Leaf team lotus transfers on each side of the car (not shown in photographs)
It is unusual in that all of the wishbones, vertical links, anti roll bars and driveshafts are in chrome rather than the usual nickel plating, additionally the part numbers, are stamped into tags welded onto the wishbones, engine mountings and the removable chassis rails either side of the engine.
The car was stolen on the night of Monday 28th of September from inside its locked racebox which was in turn locked inside a unit on a working farm. The thieves took the apparently illogical step of cutting the car out of the racebox to remove it rather than simply tow the whole lot away.
A substantial reward is offered for the safe recovery of the car. Any assistance that you can give in airing this theft will be greatly appreciated.
