Not being read infomation newsletters

Dear GTC-TC reader,

as we can see from the receipt of the automatic Email confirmations, the GTC-TC infomation newsletters are being deleted without being read from some computers. In such a case, please configurate your Spamfilter in your computer so that emails from info@gtc-tc.com are allowed to be read. If you do not wish to receive our GTC-TC newsletters any longer in future, please inform us. We will then of course delete your Emailaddress from our mailing list immediately.

Race in Dijon

Dear GTC-TC participant,

as already announced in our last newsletter, unfortunately I had to cancel our GTC-TC race in Dijon due to the fact that we didn't receive the minimum amount of participants (at least 25). The organiser is now offering our participants the possibility to start in Dijon - there will be a GT and Touring Cars race for cars built up to 1976 and a 3-hour-race where GTP and Two-Seater Racing Cars can also participate. Cancellation of GTC-TC race in Dijon

Dear GTC-TC competitors,

as already announced in my last information letter, unfortunately I had to cancel the participation of the GTC-TC in the event in Dijon (10. - 12. October) today due to the fact that we did not receive enough entries (minimum 25). Whether the organiser will hold his own GT and Touring Cars race will be decided next week - I will inform you all as soon as possible.

Dear GTC-TC competitor in Copenhagen,

Please find enclosed the latest information and the final timetable - the race on Sunday will take place an hour later now.

Attention: The qualifying on Saturday decides the starting grid for the race on Saturday. And the qualifying on Sunday decides the starting grid for the race on Sunday.

GTC-TC in Kopenhagen, Nürburgring + Dijon

Dear GTC-TC participant,

The GTC-TC started in our 3. race event in Oschersleben with a small but very fine starting grid. The races were really very exciting right up to the last racing minute. There were numerous spins and ever-changing positions (during the Qualifying, there was also unfortunately a "exchange of paints" between both the participating Ford GT 40s). Not only the drivers but also the spectactors enjoyed themselves (you can find the results and the classification tables on our website under Events - Oschersleben).

The race event No. 4 will take place very soon from 02. - 03. August in Copenhagen. I now ask all the "last-minute" entrants to send in their entries - do not miss the opportunity to participate in this fantastic city race through the park in Copenhagen !!!

Speaking of entries: the organisers of ADAC Eifelrennen which will take place at the Nürburg Ring from 26. - 28. September and the Dijon organiser of our last racing event for 2008 (10. - 12. October) are already urgently requesting for the GTC-TC entry lists. It is especially important for me to know by latest 31. Juli who wishes to participate in Dijon. Should there be less than 25 GTC-TC participants, I have to cancel our participation in this race event unfortunately. It is impossible for me to finance the guaranteed entry fee for the event organiser, in case of less competitors - this would be really a great pity, wouldn't it ?

The organiser Ole Markussen, His Royal Highness Prince Joakim of Denmark and my humble self would all be really happy to greet you all in Copenhagen.

GTC-TC in Oschersleben, Kopenhagen, Nürburgring + Dijon

Dear GTC-TC participant,

Please find enclosed the latest timetable for our next racing event in Oschersleben (D) which will take place from 11. - 12. July (Attention - only on Friday and Saturday !).

You will find the regulation as well as all further information on our website under Events - Oschersleben. We have of course reserved places in our starting field for last-minute starters - therefore it would be great, if you could all "advertise" the GTC-TC.

Since our 4. event "the historic City Grand Prix" will take place in Copenhagen (DK) 2. - 3. August - just 3 weeks after Oschersleben, I would be grateful if you could already inform me if you are interested in participating in this event as well.

Anybody who wishes to start at the Nürburgring (26. - 28. September) or in Dijon (10. - 12. October), should also inform me as soon as possible.

GTC-TC in Oschersleben

Dear GTC-TC participant,

After our 2 race event in Mizano (I) with a very "clear" starting field (the Italien ASN CSAI had suddenly prohibited the entry of Italien drivers because of a national sporting regulation which prohibits a driver to start in 2 races during the same weekend and therefore 15 Italien racing colleagues were not allowed to participate in the GTC-TC race), our 3 race event is going to take place in Oschersleben (D) from 11. - 13. Juli 2008.

I have to now know urgently (by the latest Tuesday 17. June) whether you are interested in participating in Oschersleben !!!

Please send me a short email or fax in regards to this matter as soon as possible. This short confirmation is enough for a participation in Oschersleben for those drivers who have already sent me their entry forms due to their participation in Hockenheim or Mizano. All others will find the entry form on our website under "Documents".

GTC-TC race in Mizano

Dear GTC-TC participant,

I wish to confirm once again, that the GTC-TC race in Mizano will definitely take place from 17. - 18 May 2008. Since the event only lasts from Saturday to Sunday (please have a look at the timetable on our website), I advice you not to arrive in Mizano before Friday afternoon as there will be problems (due to past experiences) to enter the paddock.

Dear GTC-TC competitor,

I hope you all had good fun in our first race event this year in Hockenheim - the press is especially raving about the GTC-TC races (see www.jimclark-revival.com Press - Clipping).

All results of the weekend as well as the first photos and videos will be set online from tomorrow onwards in the GTC-TC Website under Events - Hockenheim.

In order to prepare our next race in Mizano from 17. - 18. May 2008, I urgently need your entry confirmation or cancellation by Monday 05.05.2008. All those who have already sent me their GTC-TC entry forms, an email, fax or telephone call will be enough - all others must send in their GTC-TC entry form (see GTC-TC website - documents). Please find enclosed the provisional timetable of Mizano as well as a hotel list.

Attention: We will be driving a 60-minute race with a one minute obligatory pit stop (you can either stay sitted in the car or have a driver change).

All entered drivers will receive further information soon per email.

GTC-TC Infoletter 3

Dear GTC-TC competitor,

Please find attached the latest Information in regards to our first GTC-TC event this season - JIM CLARK-REVIVAL.

Attention: As usual the first race will have a standing start (GP Start) and the second race will be held with a rolling start (Indianopolis Start). Therefore please read the attached Drivers' Briefing document carefully (especially the point - Starting forms).

Please remember to fill out the blank entry confirmation document - which you have already received - with your name and starting number (see competitor list) , because without this it would be really difficult to enter the paddock. Please also park in a space-saving way in the GTC-TC area in the paddock (see attached Paddock plan).

You will receive your starting numbers, starting documents, transponders, etc at the GTC-TC counter in the Sachs-House in Hockenheimring. Please also read the attached document "New Jim Clark Memorial".

PS: For your information, we still have 2 single rooms available at the Hockenheimring Hotel during our race weekend - Booking is only possible through me).

Truck Exemption Permit for Sundays

Dear participants of the JIM CLARK-REVIVAL,

Please note that you definitely need an exemption permit from the city of Hockenheim to drive your trucks on Sundays in Germany.

Please fill out the application form in German (please use the following translation) and send the form back to the address stated by the latest Thursday, 10. April 2008.

The permit will be handed out to you in the administration centre (Sachs House, Hockenheimring) during the signing-on of the JIM CLARK-REVIVAL.

The cost of the permit is 25,- Euro and this must be paid in cash.

GTC-TC Infoletter 1

Dear GTC-TC-participant of the JIM CLARK-REVIVAL 2008,

As part of our service for you and your team, etc, we have blocked several hotels with cheaper rates close-by to the Hockenheimring for you. Please find attached the latest hotel list from which you can secure a hotel contingent.

Please inform me by the latest 7. February as to whether you wish to book any rooms from this list. You must inform me per email which hotel, number of rooms, room category and the dates of arrival as well as departure. It would not be possible to book rooms from this contingent directly with the hotels until 7. February.

This hotel list will be published on our JCR-website from 8. February onwards to also allow the visitors to take advantage of aquiring cheaper rooms - for your information these hotels were all fully booked for our event in 2007 by the end of February.

We have also enclosed the provisional JCR-timetable for your information.
